Growing up, attending the Good Guys Hotrod show with my old man was a staple. I’ll never forget rollin in the 31 Highboy Roadster, crawling into the trunk as we rolled through the entry gate, and poppin up on the other side posted in the rumble seat as we cruised to our parking spot.
Later in life, as i was explaining JDM cars to the Old Man, I told him that I was takin a few pages from his playbook and applying them to a new, more appealing chassis to a kid who graduated High School in the early 2000’s. “Same, Same, but Different”. He understood and we been hotrod’n since ever since.
